Last Updated: January 30, 2024

Welcome to the Divorce Coalition community! Our platform is a space for education, support, and collaboration. To ensure a positive and respectful environment, we've established these Community Guidelines. By participating in our community, you agree to abide by these guidelines and contribute to a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.

1. Respect Each Other

We value diversity and inclusivity. Treat all community members with kindness and respect, regardless of their background, beliefs, or experiences. Be open-minded, understanding, and considerate in your interactions.

2. No Harassment or Hate Speech

Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated. Ensure your comments and contributions are free from offensive language, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks. Our community is a safe space for everyone.

3. Stay on Topic

Focus your contributions on topics related to divorce, domestic abuse, and related subjects. While we encourage discussions and sharing experiences, please refrain from promoting unrelated content or engaging in off-topic discussions.

4. Privacy and Confidentiality

Respect the privacy of others. Avoid sharing personal information about yourself or others that could compromise safety or confidentiality. If someone shares their story, do not disclose it outside the community without explicit permission.

5. Be Constructive

Offer constructive feedback and support to fellow community members. If you disagree with someone, express your opinions in a respectful and constructive manner. Avoid engaging in arguments or confrontations.

6. No Promotion or Solicitation

This community is not a platform for self-promotion, solicitation, or advertising. Do not post links to external websites for promotional purposes. If you have relevant resources or services, contact us for collaboration opportunities.

7. Report Inappropriate Content

If you come across content that violates these guidelines, report it to the moderators or administrators. We rely on the community to help maintain a positive atmosphere. Do not respond to inappropriate content; let the moderators handle it.

8. Moderation Decisions

The moderators have the authority to enforce these guidelines and may take appropriate actions, including warnings, content removal, or account suspension, to maintain a healthy community environment.

9. Keep it Legal

Do not engage in or promote any illegal activities. Respect copyright laws, and refrain from sharing or requesting copyrighted material without proper authorization.

10. Have Empathy

Remember that individuals in our community may be going through challenging times. Approach discussions with empathy, sensitivity, and understanding. Offer support when appropriate, and reach out if you need help.

Failure to comply with these Community Guidelines may result in moderation actions, including the removal of content or suspension of community privileges. If you have any questions or concerns about these guidelines, please contact us at beverly@divorcecoalition.com.
